Hey guys, I plan on taking off on Friday and taking the wife to Fairfield to try and catch some Reds. The problem is that I have never fished for Reds before. Can anyone help me with what depth they should be at, or general area, and should I use live bait or troll.
Thanks in advance

Jake

I'd highly recommend Stripaholic guide service (Stripaholic.com). I've never hired him but have been out there near where he is fishing when he's catching four giant reds to our one. I've heard that trolling for them isn't very productive right now so live bait is the way to go.
