I the last 72 hours Lake amistad has come to elevation 1123. That is a 7ft rise in approx 72 hours. We have caught 1.5 feet today.
The fish have gone crazy up in the shallow water on anything you want to throw. Several reports of fish up to 8lbs. Lots of 3-6 lbers If you want to get the trip of a lifetime come now....NOW. This will not last long.

Chad
It would not surprise me if we caught another 1.5-3ft before they get the gates open to release water.
Listening to the weatherman we could get another storm by the first of next week.
Your dad says that ya'll be here next week.
I am thrying to find a catfish hole for him, but 7 ft. of new water changes everything.
Call me I'm up.

tell me about it, man. I had some ideas as to what to do but am totally stumped...assuming the t-water bite would be good with the right conditions. Wont this kill that 28ft grass edge? I'll call you later this evening...gotta catch up on a few things before heading that way.
