Fished from 8:30 to 1:30 today. I found lots of fish on the east side of the gravel pits near an exposed tree top along a ledge in about 28-30 ft of water. Caught around 50 sandies and three keeper hybrids. There was only me and one other boat in that area. The other boat being about 200 yards from me. I was fishing a marker and so was he. His hole dried up so he came over to my marker. I know I don't own the lake and putting a marker out does not mean I have dibs on all the fish in that area. My exception is this guy with two others in his boat got between me and my marker which was about 40 feet away. I'm in a 20 ft boat by myself, wind blowing 5-10 trying to guide the trolling motor and get fish off the hook. He is about 20 ft from me. I'm slabbing and so are they, had I been casting there would have been words. As it was when he showed up the fishing slowed. I moved on. If he reads this post I hope he gets the message that I like to move up and down the ledges I mark and I need a little room, or in other words have some common sense and courtesy.
Southern by the grace of God.

I thought by now all the fools were off the lake and left only the fisherman who show some courtesy towards eachother. He may read your message and agree with you and never know that you meant him! Some folks just don't get it. Well at least you caught fish, so it wasn't a total bust.
You guys know everything..... I'm just an idiot....no problem........

Great post rebel1! I for the life of me don't understand what is going through peoples heads when they do this. But it happens every where, any lake and ocean.
