My parents and I are going out on our boat for a little fishing tomorrow. No it isnt a bass boat just to start that off. I havent fished Lake Lavon from a boat most of my time has been spent on the banks fishing for bass. We usually launch from either East Park or Avalon Park and stay close to the Dam. Ill probably just stick with some nightcrawlers and hot dogs if i want to catch some catfish.
So my main question to yall is what to throw for some early morning bass out by the Dam?

Caught them two weeks ago on a shad colored trap 1/2 ounce off the damn and some flooded grass shallow as long as there was wind pushing into them. Hope this helps.

I caught a half dozen catfish off the rocks with crankbaits...that time of year.

Stress less, relax more. Go fishing.
