Went out Sat. b/c it was a nice day with a bucket of minnows below the dam. Limited out on whites right below the gates. Seems the run has started.

Must have happend over night, was out friday evening several people fishing as well and no fish not even a bump.

Shad_Master,

Say, how do you get to the dam below Ray Roberts. I would be coming from the McKinney area from either 75 Central or 78 headed south.

I would appreciate any help you could give me.

I don't trust a catfisherman who doesn't have shad scales on his hands or his reels...period.

you will most likley be coming 380 so youll wanna take 377 north then left on fm455 youll pass isle do bois and i think its called sam garret overlook on your right and on your left youll see the entrance to the greenbelt thats where you turn.go down that park road to the damn and walk down.but you might wanna wait because i went this afternoon and nada bite one.mabye a couple days in a row of sunshine will get them back up there.ill try to keep you posted.
