Sometimes we can overanalyze things a tad too much.

C'mon man. Where have you been hiding? You haven't heard of the latest craze called "Hull-o-Graphics"? Just like a standard boat wrap, BUT, for the bottom of your boat (for those simple-minded folks that firmly believe hull color makes a difference). You can quickly and easily "hug your hull" with whatever color you have confidence in to put the bass in your boat. Several selections are available. "Blue Bird Sky", "Scattered Clouds", "Fog Dog", "Night Stalker", and my fav, "Thunder-head for Cover". (You won't find them on Google tho. I just invented them. Patent pending. laugh

First, let me say that I don't think it really matters at all. Having said that, a lot of the old time pros I have talked to always said white bottom is the way to go. Also, light colored clothing too. They were never big on black bottoms or flake. Take a look at the flats fishermen in Florida. Those guys have all white boats and are always wearing light colored shirts to blend in with the sky. It makes sense, but again, I don't really think it matters.
