BIG lake. Haven't fished it in years but when I did it was just like any other lake with the same patterns according to the time of year.September will be a little cooler up there than here most likely and a fall type bite may be on.If its still hot fish the lake early and late for bass and go down below the dam and trout fish during the middle of the day.

About an hour from Cricket Creek on Table Rock and we fish it. What time in September? This is a major question!

Here are a couple of links to Table Rock. Ozark Anglers A link for a long time guide on TR who gives a great report every couple of weeks. White River Outfitters Hope it helps. I was up there last week but didn't fish. Water was warm and clear.

Was there last week. Only got to fish one day, but caught some fish. My son managed to catch a a gar, smallmouth, largemouth and white bass. Didn't have time to do a lot - mainly fished rock ledges in coves.
Beautiful lake - would love to go back and spend a few days.

Go to ozarkanglers as mentioned before. The fish will probably be suspended DEEP. Like 40-60 ft over 150 ft of water. Drop shot and spoons. I don't call that fishing so I would suggest running way up the James or White arm and you can fish for real with football jigs and dd22. Good luck!
