Just left Sneaky Pete's, I was wearing my BassChamps shirt and had some "woman" that looked like the love child of Rosie O'Donnell and Martina Navratilova corner me. She then lectured me about the evils of fishing and how horrible I was for hurting those poor defenseless fish.

anyway.....She/He/It, whatever, informed me they were having some type of protest at some Ray Hubbard tournament. They gave us a flyer. Anyone else know anything about this???

Between the YETI's breath, looks and hairy back, I was so scared I went back to the bar 'til the coast was clear

I'd like to know where this protest is planned. I'm going to make sure I have a limit of sandbass and crappie on a stringer and try to filet all of them right in front of the protest.

Make sure you keep them all alive until its time to filet!

I would like to fish this tournament. lol dates? we should show up in full force and have a few hundred boats on a weekday tourney

Just remember this can easily be a double edged sword and cast a bad shadow on what we do. These type of people take their claims as serious as we take our fishing. This is a free country and they have their rights as well as we do. But as fisherman and sportsman we need to show that we take the best possibly measures to insure the life of our catch is taken. Not for the activists out there but for our future generations to enjoy as we have. I have fished with Mike for several years now and there is always care taken...... I personally witnessed fish getting their air bladders releived and swimming off after our weigh-ins. So as crazy as this is and as mad as it make you BE SMART about it!!!
