Well I think I saw someone else say they run real early and real late. Looks like I was out there too early yesterday. They didnt really start running until about an hour before dark, around 7am or 7pm are your best times to get started for whites/striper/hybrid. Didnt catch any striper tonight but laid into a nice school of hybrid striper. Caught about 30 tonight in around an hours time, was just me on the boat. Just outside of key ranch cove. caught a few in the shallows along the bank on the way to the dam, saw lots of action in 30-40ft on the way back to the cove but no takers. This was all prior to 7pm, lots of boats out near the dam I assume loading up as well. I sure am going to miss this lake. A fishing trip tomorrow with the owner of Cedar Creek Cafe and then one on next thursday and that will be it for me.
Good luck out there.
