Started in the early am, but couldn't find many fish. Marked them in several places, but no takers. Finally, in the late afternoon, the birds got to work and we found the fish close to the old spillway and out toward the middle of the lake.

The birds moved around pretty fast, but we caught a few small hybrids and some nice sandies pretty constantly until dark.

Used Humdingers, topwaters, and slabs. I think we should have tried rattle traps and rooster tails too.

Bob,
The last couple of times I went to LL it was in the morning. I graphed a lot of fish but no takers. I'm going out tomorrow afternoon and see if their appetite is better then.

From what I've been reading, sounds like the afternoon bite has been better than the morning bite. I should be out Sunday morning to find out. See y'all then!!
