 lake tyler e coli report!!!!!!

I got word today from my wife who works at ETMC,that a doctors daughter is in icu as we speak,she claims she got it while swimming at lake Tyler all day.They let her go home on antibiotics,but while at home she got real bad and is now in icu. I'm not trying to scare anyone,but just passing off inside information.Has anyone else got sick from being in the water,are heard of anything else about this.I would be careful.

I really hope that the little Girl gets better real soon. That's nothing to mess around with. I've never fished the Lake but I hear alot of good things about it and hope that it did not come from there.

i think they sprayed on the 23 it very well could have something to do with it hope she is ok

Man that is terrible news! I hate to hear anything bad happening to kids. After having three boys (my oldest being 6) my whole perspective on life changed! Things that I used to think were important don't mean a damn to me anymore, and it is all about my wife and kids now. I sure pray that little girl will be alright!

"I do know that some of the public swimming areas on Lake O the Pines were temporarily closed due to E. Coli, however I have not heard anything about E.Coli on Lake Tyler. The best source of information would be either Tyler Water Utilities or the Texas Department of Health."

They also posted signs on Lake Of the Pines for e coli was found on one of the beaches in the sand and shorline. It was in the Longview Newspaper, as well as on KLTV channel 7 news. Probably can find it in the archives. But they aired it last week one day.
FIrst i have heard of anything on Tyler. But prayers go out to the girl and family.

Yeah, Lake O Pines swimming hole was closed last week due to E. Coli.
Was camping up there last week.

"Robin, I have confirmed with Tyler Water Utilities that there are no E. coli issues on Lake Tyler . Further they have had no reports from Texas Department of Health that would indicate other health problems".
