I bought a 10' one of these during the spawn at Ray Rob and while fishing I set the hook and the top part of the rod broke in half. I threw away the reciept not thinking that I would have a problem. do ya'll think cabelas will exchange and give me a new one. What should I do?

i got mine from academy and i broke the tip, they let me exchange for the same rod as long as its in stock, going to do so whenever i get the chance and i do not have the reciept, great service they got...

IF BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD,PULL UP HISTORY OFF COMPUTER AND BLACKOUT ACCOUNT NUMBER IF NEED BE.JUST A THOUGHT,HOPE IT HEPLS....THOSE ARE GREAT RODS....

I broke my bnm cabelas rod and I bought it like 7 months ago. Took it up there and told them w/o receipt and they exchanged it with no problems. There is a 2yr warranty on the cabelas pole. Glad I bought the cabelas brand.

I've bought Cabela's brand rods and when they broke, Cabela's let me exchange out or give store credit. I didn't have a reciept. Just go to the customer Service Desk and let them know what happened.

Most stores will exchange w/o receipt, refund is a different story, I just had to exchange my wally marshall a couple of days ago at bass pro, no issues there either.
