I got one this year but I dont really feel like its a record since it was on trotline.I think a TRUE record will be on R&R but Ill get it this winter!!!!!! +1

My kids hold several records and my son held the former state catch and release record for blue cat. I have also broke a few also but nothing worth posting. The glory is my for my kids.

I have a 72.lb flathead lake record on r/r at lake tawakoni.

my son jordan bavousett has the yellow cat lake record at amistad. he also has the channel cat lake record at amistad. the channel is also the state record in the jr. division.

My personal best on this private suburb pond was a 4# channel. Can I get a certificate for that? Thats gotta top the charts there.

My personal best on R & R and the lake record on Lavon. A blind squirrel finds and acorn for sure!   68 lbs caught with a 7 ft ugly stick, abu 6500, 20lb ande line and a fresh shad head. One cold day (17 degrees). Tightlines Dave

Lake record for channel cat on Belton is only 7.3lbs. Now of course the channels are not very big or in very big numbers on that lake, but I came within 1/2 to 1 lb several times... I am sure its been caugth tons of times, but no one realizes its that small of a record for that lake.
