A new addition has been added to The Crappie Guy staff. His name is Benny Dabney and he is the best crappie fisherman that you've never heard of. That's because Benny doesn't do too much posting on the TFF, instead, allowing his fishing to do the talking for him. Benny had over 40 years of crappie fishing experience. My guiding business has reached the point that if I didn't get someone to help me, I was gonna work my old self to death, and besides, I just wanna go fishing sometime too. Benny runs a 20' Skeeter with a "too fast" engine on the back. His speciality is jig fishing, but he has been know to drown a minnow or two. So with the addition of Benny, you hopefully won't hear me tell you on the phone that you have to wait a month or two to go fishing. The Crappie Guy runs trips seven days a week on Grapevine and Lewisville, and with the addition of Benny, we'll probably add Ray Roberts back on our schedule of lakes, as Benny is an expert on that lake.
