I usually fish ray Roberts but my granparents have a lake house on fork and their own little private ramp so we go out there every now and then but we always get our butts handed to us. My questions are, has anyone been on fork recently (last week or two preferably)? and what has been producing for you guys out there? I'm goin this weekend and I don't wanna get skied again on one the best big bass lakes in the world.

Look for shallow grass with deep water near by and you should catch fish...a little wind is good too.

We caught most of ours Saturday on Pop R type baits until about 11:00 AM all in 3' or less. Later we caught them on "chatter bait" type baits out to about 8' biggest fish was about 6 1/2#. All were in small pockets in Birch before you get to the 154 bridge.

We would have had 35lb if we could have landed all our fish. violin

We had 29+lbs on paper, 8 fish.
Had a great day, Fork was good to us, but made us work for it.
Never picked up more than 1 fish in an area.
All were shallow, 4ft or less, but most were not too far from deeper water.
Tried some deeper spots but either had 0 bites or caught a few tiny 8inchers.
Caught them on a variety: gambler cane toad, chatterbait,
yellow magic, 6ft crank, lipless, senko. Drop shot caught the tiny ones.
The definition of junk fishing!
