have any of you guys had any encounters with jumping carp(mirror carp) in texas waters? i swear one jumped into my boat while going down south prong creek that runs into to waxahachie lake. it had no scales.

i think you are referring to silver carp that are in the Mississippi river and not mirror carp that are just common carp with little to no scales. There are no silver carp in Texas yet. If it was a mirror carp that jumped in then it was a freak occurance

im starting to wonder if it was just a shad. but ive never heard of shad jumping that high out of the water.
