The subject sayse it all. Any tips???
I like to lean aginst somthing sometimes, but I wouldn't mind sitting down. Anyone have any favorites?

BEING A BIG GUY MYSELF,I GOT ONE WITH THICK PADDING IN BOTH THE SEAT AS WELL AS THE BACK.PICKED THEM UP AT CABELA'S FOR A DECENT PRICE.HOPE THAT HELPS.

An adjustible pedistal & a small butt seat. I just lean up against it while running the foot control. It leaves room for 2 up front to get around.

I keep two types of seats in the garage. If I'm crappie fishing, I take a seat with a back because it is verticle fishing. If I'm bass fishing (do it occassionally), I use a leaning post because it is easier to cast for long periods of time.
If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life,
there'd be a shortage of fishing poles

Depends if you like to timber/jig fish (butt) or just dunking minnows (seat).

Depends if you like to timber/jig fish (butt) or just dunking minnows (seat). I like jigging, but I also like sitting?? Hughhh, I almost picke up a regular seat but had second thoughts. I am just gonna get both to see which one I like the best.

I have 2 butt seats that are almost new. Think I paid $20 each at academy and never plan on using them. If you want one of them let me know and I'll make you a great deal on one of them. Not sure if you ever fish Lewisville but pm me if you do and I can meet you somewhere.

Bolt you a recliner down on the bow and mount rod holders to each armrest. A beach umbrella mounted to the back wouldn't hurt either. On a more serious note - when are you going to get that boat in the water? I'd like to hear about your first trip out and how you did. You can fix the boat up how you like it as you go along, but don't stop fishin while you're working on it. Let me know!
