Sounds like my night tonight out there, we finally gave up about 9:30 and came to the house.

took my boys 3 times in the last 10 days with good success. got on the water @ 6am each time and headed down by the big dam and they were schooling in acres. they are chasing shad about an inch long for the most part so small pop r's, small spoons and lil georges will get you bit often. sandies are small but the boys like catching them. ratio was about 2 keepers for every 10 caught.

been getting off the water by 9 - 10am when it starts to get hot. you can slow roll coho's about 25' under the top schoolers and catch some hybrids as well.

hope this helps.
