Fished with Alan yesterday morning. We put at daybreak. When we came back to his truck we found his drivers side lock had been punched out & the truck was emptied!


This is not the actual picture but you get the idea. The key hole on my buddy's truck was actually removed or "punched out" with a tool!

Brighter side is when the weather cleared we found plenty of boiling fish around Fishermans Point some time around noon. Left them boiling at 2pm!

Dam whats this world commin to ? Think Id have to go back in another truck sit in the bushes and do a little huntin theives paybacks a witch

They did the same exact thing to my truck the year before last at Terry Park. Nothing worse than a theif.

I was sorry to hear about Al's truck but glad you guys caught some fish. He had quite a bit of pressure on him to bring some back. Sorry I couldn't make it. The ramp has given me a bad feeling for the last couple of year's. It is closer but not worth chancing it.

After thinkin about this does anyone know of a safe FREE ramp on ANY lake? I cant think of ANY Id leave my rig at after dark or before sunrise, not a free one. Seems like anything free attracts dope heads, is this yalls experience? Been noticing lakes attract um went to cedar creek couple weeks ago to look at a lake lot whole dam park infested with dope heads. Guess until we the people start fightin back just gonna keep gettin worse cause really dont see law enforcement doin anything at all, Same dam thing with our government

These guys stand on corners looking for donations, they could make all the money they wanted to watch trucks at boat ramps. I would be willing to pay a person to sheriff a parking lot to make sure my truck and trailer were safe.

I "think" you can still launch from Don's Port for $5.00 not sure if they still have an annual permit.

Fisherman's Wharf is on the south end of Cedar Creek and they used to be $5.00.

Well THEN its NOT a free ramp. Thats my question WHY should we have to pay to be safe? Im from a small town where I STILL leave my doors unlocked keys in cars BUT that said people around here know Ive shot 1 person and sure not skeered to shoot a THIEF. I really think these theives have to have FEAR put into them or a bullet before this will stop. Am I the only one that feels this way??

no but the # of us the feel and live that way are smaller every year, most foks want some one else to provide there saftey and secure thier possesions. Heck look at how many folks on this forum feel guilty over hurting the fish they catch.

Yeah your right, it just tears my azz where this used to be great country is headin. (to hell in my OPINION) Im 53 yrs old and just urps me how much its changed since I was a kid. Kids now have NO RESPECT for anything including theirselves. Ive got a 3 yr old grandson that already says yes mam yes sir no mam and no sir and WILL BE TAUGHT RESPECT for himself and others. I really believe most of the problems today started at HOME. I could be totally wrong just the way I see it. When I was a kid you Knew not to screw up or you got your azz BEAT,NOW what the hell is this time out chit. Jail what a joke its better than some had at home that Sheriff in AZ has the right idea make jail a place you DONT want to go. OK Im through rantin
