Last time I had the boat out, just as I was coming in to load the engine started missing somewhat and then it died. I tried to crank and nothing. I used the trolling motor to get the boat back and loaded up. The tilt trim worked. When I got home I remove the cowl and one of the voltage regulators had obviously over heated. I bougth a new voltage regulator and replaced that. I tried to trim the motor up and nothing...so I bought two new trim relays and replaced those. Now when I hit the trim switch both of the relays buzz but the trim motor does not operate. I have also tried to crank the boat and nothing happens. I have replaced the craking battery and tested it and it is good. I checked the fuses on the power head and found one bad fuse which I replaced. No change in either condition. I am thinking the solenoid is bad but I wouldnt think that would effect the trim motor...any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

Sounds like your not getting full 12v to the solenoid. Something shorted to blow the fuse. All 12v power for t&t, ign. switch and starter solenoid comes from battery cable connection at the starter soleniod. Fuse is probly blown again. With what you decribed you are going to have to isolate each circuit till you find the shorted one. Good Luck

thanks for the reply..I checked the fuses and none are blown..I figured the one I replaced on the power head was blown when the voltage regulator fried...but I will see if I can isolate and test some others..I measure 12 volts across the terminals on the solenoid.. anyone else has any suggestions ...let me know..
