My Yami is running better since I had all the fuel lines
replaced with etoh-proof , and using the blue stabil.
Anybody know of a gas station in the flint area that
is etoh free ? I have been meaning to add one of those
big inline water separators , but have not done so yet.

I've had this rig for about 2 1/2 yrs, but I keep it fairly busy, as I'm a guide. I really didn't pay much attention to ETH, as I trusted what the signs said (10%) and knew my Merc 150 Verado could handle it (stupid me). I will now keep StaBil Maine (blue) in business and will search out non-ETH stations. I intend for my brand new fuel system to stay that way.

The summer formulation gasoline in the Metroplex is required by the EPA to contain ethanol because it burns much more cleanly than 100% formulation. It is a method of reducing the pollution within the d/fw area. It also boosts the octane rating a bit.

During the non-summer months you can occasionaly find an independent station or two which have it, but during the summer, it is illegal in Dallas and Tarrant counties.

There are some stations east of Dallas in Forney, Terrell, etc. which will have it this time of year since they are outside of Dallas county.

Guess I need to keep an eye on my Verado...

Sorry to hear that and I hope I didn't do much harm to mine before I started using the STA-BIL Marine Formula, it's supposed to help with the Ethanol.

Hope it does, we need something as I have been seeing post about this for a good while now and people talking the stations are supposed to tell what % they are using, but many don't.

Just got through reading about a product that has enzymes that despense moisture.Im not going to write all of it but it does say to not use products that have any alcohol to ethanol can lead to engine damage.Ethanol is a solvent.Anyway ck out there wed site www.startron.com or call 800-327-8583 Darrell

Guy I dont think youll want to hear this but if I was goin to do that,Id invest in a test kit to make sure the non alcohol gas really is alcohol free, sorry but these days I dont trust anyone I want proof,just a thought hate to see ya drive that far for same chit

Took my boat out today, and she ran like a top. Thanks to Lake Park Marine for the fine work that they do...and no thanks to our government for mandating a substance in our fuel that would do something like this
