There is a product called Sonar One. It is pkg. in a 20lb pail. Use 4 lbs per acre and it will take care of the moss and a lot of other aquatic vegetation.

Most likely, it is filamentous algae. Copper sulfate is what you want to kill it. Here is a very handy website to manage aquatic vegetation: http://aquaplant.tamu.edu/. You can look at pictures of plants and then select the "management options" link at the top and it will tell you the best options. If you have 100% coverage, I would suggest treating in stages or you may experience a fish kill. As the algae decomposes, it uses a lot of oxygen and may affect the fish. Good luck!

Moss sure does make a good hang out for bass. Keep the moss and throw weedless soft plastics around the edges on braided line. I'd throw a frog and get ready for the bass of a lifetime.
I'm not a chick.
