Fished last night with fellow TFF member Gene Stoutmeyer and his grandson Hunter.

Fished from 8:30P till about 11P. Hit the lower end of Clear Creek and Star Harbor areas.

Caught 1 black, 1 crappie, 5 sandies and 3 hybrids to 9lbs. Lost another big hybrid at the boat and one that broke off. If you catch one with a silver spoon in it's mouth, it wasn't born that way, it's Gene's.

What a difference 1 day makes. The night before I was out for 3 hours and ended up with four 15"-17" sand bass.

All fish were caught on white Road Runner Turbo Tails, 1/16 & 1/8 oz., under white an orange boat house lights.

Had a great time fishing with Gene and Hunter. Thanks for coming out guys, we'll do it again.



Fished again Sunday night with my neighbor Tom. Caught many sand bass and got 3 hybrids, to 8lbs., into the boat. We missed more that we'd like to admit for various reasons.

Nice fish steve... You gonna have to show me how u r catching them things at night.... Hybrids are a blast to catch, they are spunky as #@#$. We wound up with 14 crappie off the dock sat night. None real big but keepers. Probably threw back twice as many though.

Jason - Check the drag and line on your crappie rig and let's go. I might be down on Thursday anbd Friday this week. If you're interested, let me know.
