willyjoe. This time of year when the fish are very active I would say from 1oz to 2oz for your hybrids and sandbass. Colors are pretty easy char/white, silver holographic especially when the sun is bright and the water is fairly clear(just not murky). I also have a lot of luck on dark color backs such as blue. With the special right now I am selling a lot of these for example mostly because they are really good this time of year when the fish are active: 1 1/8 & 1 3/8oz limit gitters silver holographic, char/white, casting spoon 1, 1.5oz, and 2oz in char/white and silver holographic, magnum magnet same color 1 and 2oz. shad spoon 1 and 1.5oz char/white, blue/white. From my experiences and based on the orders I have taken these seem to be the dominant colors ordered. Also when the fish are schooling on top as they are doing a lot right now, a smaller slab from 5/8oz to 3/4oz in silver holographic or white can be killer. Especially when the fish are feeding on smaller baits. It is just easier to keep them in the strike zone longer, still need to move it fast though. If your interested in ordering I would just suggest mixing it up a bit on the lures mentioned you cant go wrong on those colors. In the earlier parts of the year I know a lot of people on here order the smaller baits 5/8oz to 3/4oz, but this time of the year it is to your advantage to use larger baits.

Bryon, thanks for the information, But I ever use anything bigger than 1/2 oz., so do you make small size shad spoon like 3/8 and 1/2 oz.

I make them 1/4, 1/2 on my casting spoon. On my limit gitter I make a 5/8oz.

These baits must be working cause for every 2 I sale on special I have someone else buying them off my website at regurlar price, wondering if they can get them faster since they paid full price, .
