I know there will be some spawners around at ivie still... a few fish start early and a few stay WAY late... its like a bell curve

Nice fish! Being mid June, I dont think the fishes tail is bloddy from spawning. I have heard they bleed sometimes for different reasons. I caught a fish about 6 lbs. on fork last Monday whose tail was bleeding. And she was in 27 ft. of water.

Great fish still!

Dont be bitter there no reason to get upset just cause i didnt get you one while I was there.

That fish also had a hole about the size of your fingertip on the other side above the tail so there is no telling could have been anything i guess.
