I think I am going to beat the heat and try fishing some lighted docks tonight. I will put in at LakeWood Ramp late this afternoon, hopefully early enough to catch the last bit of the evening bite. Anybody else going to be on the water?

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

I went out for a few minutes, caught a couple of sand bass from a dock that looked great.

The wind was from the south and it picked up a bitwhile I was on the dock, the Spot lock on the I pilot would hold it but the fish seemed to move off as soon as it started white capping.

I should have went across the lake and got out of the wind but went back to the house and the A/C.

It ain't easy making it look easy.

I have alot going on at work and just now having a chance to report. Got a late start (work again), and did not get started until around 9:30. The action was pretty slow on most docks. We ended up catching a bunch of decent catfish, couple of nice catfish and a big Black Bass. I did not catch a Hybrid and only a few sand bass. I was fishing with shad so I was not after smaller sand bass. I could have caught more of them with Crappie jigs.
