It's a nice source for Scottish patterns.
Does he have any videos where they speak English?

Reminds me of a story from my days in the Holy City of Memphis. There was a little Irish style pub with a genuine Irish bar maid. She ran a weekly quiz game.

One week there was an Irish film crew doing stories about ex-patriots. At one point she announced that "tu turds" of the prize money would be awarded to the winning team. Everyone cracked up. She later said that folks back home would wonder what was so funny about 2/3rds.

Reminds me, I miss those cheese burgers... hmmmm.

I would second the earlier advice to seek out tying help from Alamo Fly Fishers. They meet every Tuesday evening at 7 in the basement of the Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church for "tying and lying" and have their monthly meeting there the third Tuesday of each month.

Another great local resource for you is Bruce Young of Tackle Box Outfitters.

Bruce is an active member of AFF and one of the best tyers around. He's also an excellent teacher of fly tying.
