My battery is dead on cc, so I called chuck to hire him for a charter granted he picks me up from a dead boat. I am lucky he didn't have an afternoon charter. Had to release my live well due to fish dying. I might have cooked out here. Thanks chuck!

A good example of why I carry jumper cables in the boat. I can jump from one of the trolling motor batteries to the outboard.
Glad you're getting some help. Way too hot to be stranded.

That is what I was thinking. My trolling motor batteries are in a series. The first battery I can get too, but it is connected with a traditional hexagon nut. I don't have a wrench and the next battery is connected with wing nuts, but I can't pull it out without removing the first battery. Jumper cables are now standard on my boat. If I hadn't had the aerator on so long without running to the next spot I would have been fine. Had to release the last of the fish a minute ago. Water temp is 88.

Funny. Wife just called and asked to play "words with friends" while I waited.

Just got back in from our trip together. I showed up with jumper cables and it cranked right up then we went fishing. We had a fun time catching fish an it didn't take too long for pope to have his limit. He can fill you in in the details.
Thanks Pope

Thanks again. I would have been stuck like Chuck without you (pun intended). It was nice fishing with you and I enjoyed the CC lesson. I already put jumper cables in the boat and am ready to go again in a few weeks when we get back from vacation.

The first bunch of fish I caught today were the lucky ones. They caught a reprieve, but the fish caught with Chuck caught ice. A live well just won't keep fish alive when the water temp gets to 92, especially when the circulation dies!

Despite all the crappie we caught, the most fun was watching you wrestled the flathead. You guys may not be able to tell from the photo, but Chuck's rod was bendo from the heavy weight on the other end. I think you has a shot of the real fish.
