The Lewisville Sand Bass Tourney was a true BLAST. What a great day! Sure was nice to meet and talk with TFF'ers.

Boston Bob, whom someone referred to as "real cute", did a great job. What a tough, time-consuming job! The first tourney had 14 teams fishing, This one had, I think, 37 teams! A fine turn-out. Good fishermen (-women), too.

Congratulations to Team Don the Angler for weighing the heaviest 10 sandies......AND having caught the big fish of the day. (I guess they made enough prize money to at least pay a portion of the gasoline they burned.) LOL

BTW, it was neat to see so many help out in preparing the fish fry. Everything was really tasty.

One thing: I wish that more of us would have been a bit more careful with our messes.....and stayed around to help clean the pavillion.

Have the final results been posted. I hear that DTA did well. How did the rest do and what kind of payout was there? Gonna be hot here today...will be cruising on LBJ and watching for surface action.

Once again you did a fine job. I know this was a lot of work and believe me, we all appreciate it! This tourney is good fellowship and it is great to meet all the fellow TFFers. Congratulations to team DTA on their excellent catch. Especially that 8.5 lb white bass, LOL. Can�t wait till the next one.

BTW, most of our fish were caught on HUMDINGERS. This is a great luer.

It was a great day yesterday thanks to Boston Bob. The opening ceremony was very moving. Everyone seemed to have had a good time. It was good to renew friendships and meet some new folks also. I was especially pleased to see lovfldx in attendance. Rudy, your fish were the best! I do not know who the official poster is and I do not have the results of the tournament, so we must wait for that. Also we had an official photographer. These photos are some my son Dale took. I can not identify everyone in each photo, so I will not put any names with the faces. Hopefully, the next tournament will not be so hot!!!

Yep I had a blast too. Thanks to BB and nice to meet everyone! When is the next one! (I can hear Bob sigh from here). My son talked his butt off about getting to carry the fish up to the weigh in table! Next time maybe I can put together a more competetive team.

Congrats to DTA, even though we know he sandbagged the first one so he could sucker all of us out there and hit the big money, just joking DTA. Boston Bob my hat off to you for an outstanding tournament as always, can't wait till the next one.

As usual, I enjoyed fishin with DTA and his son, Dale. Lots of laughs and fish flyin around in THAT boat. just wish I were more photogenic!

All I can say is -excellent.
My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves and it sure was nice to meet all you fellow TFF'ers.
We need to do this again next weekend so maybe I can remember all the people I met and meet the rest.

Bob, how about next year we try to start the NTSBA(north texas sandbass association),just a thought. They have tournament trails for every other species in the lake excluding bream. So why not get a sandbass tournament trail started. I bet you would get more than enough support to help with all the details.

yep it was a fun day, i just wish i could have stayed longer. had prior commitments, not to mention still have a ton of packing to do before my move next weekend. any volunteers next one i'm sneeking onto DTA boat
