I suggest you start in the back of coves using a Sammy or Pop-r in the morning and back off in deeper water with a carolina rigged fluke on midlake points. The bait fish are everywhere! I pre-fished yesterday and caught a few but didn't find an obvious pattern. Agree there are baitfish everywhere! I'm not sure what normal clarity is on Belton but it's pretty clear compared to most of the lakes I have fished here in TX.....maybe 4-5' of visibility? David D. TFF Celebrity D Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 6,080 Caldwell, Texas	1/4 to 3/8 oz texas rig. Trees were anywhere from 5-22 ft deep. You can catch fish in the tree tops that you don't see by swimming the trig through it. Its a blast when you find that row of them that is loaded
