I still remember the first bowfin I caught a few years back, I was crappie fishing in Lake Micousukee (sp?) in Florida. My bobber disappeared and it was on! Feisty fighters, especially on an ultra-lite.
Every Thanksgiving I get to fish there and have since dropped going for crappie and target the "mudfish" as they call them there. This November I will get yet another shot at them!

You still fish with bait? Yep. Works better than fake insects made from Christmas garland.  You probably shoot deer under a feeder and got training wheels on your bike too, huh?  If I was a hunter I would never shoot a deer under a feeder. I would use Buck Jam. You probably wear a hat with horns on it.  My bad I thought I remembered you all decked out in camo in fish pictures... I must have remembered wrong...

OT but i put Buck Jam in my Method the sweet corn seems to be my favorite so far.

I was using a nylon coated metal leader that I purchased up north for pike. Its a very limp material designed for toothy fish. It is made by Berkley but I cant remember the name of it.

You silly line chucker. Of course I always wear camo but it isnt for deer hunting. Its because I am the commander of Jasons Angry Army. We are at war with the buff haters you know. I am militant & too serious so I have to look the part.
All joking aside, I love camo. Anything that I can buy and use in camo I will. As far as fishing goes, who knows? Cant hurt, might help.
Where punters are punted.

No kidding, it's a shame you don't like beer, or Tito's, or drinking on the bank with friends... Or driving a fan so full of gear that not only can we not see Krista in the back, but every bump in the road causes the undercarriage to scrape the road... ...Or a good Face-Kicking, or dodging Krista's FFJK.
