 Canyon Lake conditions

What are things like out at Canyon Lake? Considering the flooded areas further down river is keeping a lot of people out of NB area, had it been pretty crowded up at the lake. I know the rain did not hurt anything that way. I am wanting to get the boat out since Dunlap is closed for at least another month.

Canyon is in the best shape it's been in for years. Yesterday the level was 910. If youre going go early, it took me an hour to get there from IH 35 on Saturday due to the traffic going out on FM 306. A lot of traffic out there as well. Hope this helps, have fun

thanks for the info. I live here in new braunfels as well, so weekends are a no go anywhere around here for me. seems like the lake is doing well.

If you're going to fish, the best place to go this time of year is anywhere except Canyon. Too many water roaches up there running up and down the lake.
