Have determined w/20 mph wind, wave height on Grapevine, during the week(w/o 150 boats) is about 1ft. Weekend averages,(im sure)with 150 boats, about 4-6ft. This is not counting the 60 ft. sea going vessels that prob. shouldn't be on such a small lake anyway. Your results may vary.

depends on wind direction. 20mph out of the NW and you will have bigger waves than a foot...

NW is BRUTAL on the Vine, it builds from as far up the creek as you can go all the way to the dam. They may not be very spread out, but they are much taller than 1 ft.

Winds out of the NW on the vine are definitely brutal. Any other direction it's workable, but out of the N-NW, it's flat out dangerous. NW winds got me last year and launched my Triton 21X2 completely out of the water while heading south on the main body of the lake.

Also depends on whether or not you are catching fish - no fish, waves are always bigger - catching fish, waves are average.
