With the summer heat setting in this is grouping the bass up in offshore structure. Look for humps, points, tank dams and channel swings. I've been targeting the fish in 18 24 ft. ill start throwing a LFT flutter spoon letting it sink all the way to the bottom then I will hop it back or ill rip it real hard triggering a reaction strike. Then I will try a deep diving cranbait, following up with a c'rig with a 3' leader with a green pum. fork creature or ill throw a wat/red sidewinder. a 3/4oz bugeye football head jig has been catching some really nice fish also.
The night fishing has been AWSOME!!! I've been targeting grass lines, diches and shallow channel edges. at night time I will have 2 rods on the deck a 10" blue flake LFT worm, or a blue bruzier fork craw.
