This was my first time fishing the BLT and I really enjoyed it. Taking first had alot to do with that I'm sure. Was so hot and fish were stressed I weighed in at noon. Spent some time talking to the tournament director and the other guys working it and they all seemed great. I will definately be fishing more events with BLT!

A great win! Congratulations! The whole series has been a blast even though I've struggled as of late. One to go.

Stress less, relax more. Go fishing.

I think the bigger sacks came on cranks, rigs and T-rigs from the goddip at weigh in.

Bass are relating to balls of fry that are hanging around timber or any other structure that migh offer them some cover. Debth is not a major factor right now. Early or late in the day you can catch them as shallow as 2 ft. It is when the sun gets high and hot when things gets tough. The fish will pull very tight to cover and you have to do some banging into cover get reaction bites. Deep crankin on timber is a great was to get a school activated then follow up with something else once the bite slows.

Ditto on the 30 lbs and BLT. I've fished tournaments for over 30 years on just about every circuit. Brian's tournaments are second to none.

Ray Roberts is the first BLT tourney I have fished, they seem to do a great job, I plan on fishing with them again. I still can't imagine catching 30 lbs in a tourney on Roberts, I figured someone would do it in the spring.
