Just looking for a little help here. I am taking my friend Harley Parker out fishing for the first time tomorrow since he nearly died about a month ago. Don't know how many saw my post in the off-Topic section, but we came very close to loosing him,He's 84 yrs young, and 've been telling him about all the fun I've had on Texoma the last few weeks. Just checking to see if the fish are still schooling in the same place where I was catching them around washita point. I know there is a tournament coming up so don't want any secrets, email me if anyone has any information, so that I can make this a great fishing day for my friend that we thought would never fish again. Thanks, Sharon

Thanks guys for your help, I didn't have a great day, we caught 8 striper averaging about 5 lbs, the biggest was 8 lbs. Got a couple of good pictures of Harley holding his fish, I was so excited to see him fighting those sassy fish. Sharon

Way to go, Sharon! The important thing is that you took Harley fishing. The eight fish were just the iceing on the cake.

Sharon,

What time of day?
Did the birds help?

Which arm of the lake, Washita,Red, or main lake?

We caught them all in the Washita arm, and I would say at 11:30 aproximately. There were birds, but not as many as we have been seeing. Sharon

Today, Saturday, we caught one 5.5 lbs on a glow sassy. I had trouble marking fish today and ran a lot of the time. I never found birds. I fish from the islands and east of them. Maybe someone did better west today.
