This time of year I pretty much fish at night, and my last trip I caught some nice ones in 12' around break lines with brush. And a bunch of little ones in 5' on top of a point when the wind died. And some little ones at the State Park boat stalls. Occasionally I catch several good ones in one spot, but mostly it is here and there. It is just not a real productive lake, but there are some solid fish in it, you just have to work for them.

I have had the best luck under the Lakeway bridge and around the tires at the marina near the State Park. Im going out there at the butt crack of dawn in the morning.

i have done well at the power poles across the lake just south of lakeridge bridge ...also the mouth of the first creek there if you can find the channel usually has a few fish on it this time of year especially

Try the main points, ledges, road beds, pond dams, or any ledge you can find in 15-30 ft with your favorite technique that will get down there. This is a very productive time of year for me out there. The brighter and hotter it is the more they group up out deep and feed.

go to the water intake at the dam. on the right side is a hump, that drops off to 30 ft on the side of the intake. post up right near the off limit marker. I have caught some really nice fish there! Good Luck

I was out there before dawn this morning. Found Walnut Creek and fished along with all of the wood and got nothing. Tried under Lakeway bridge and the wind was just too strong so didnt go to the dam or near the State Park. Got a whole lot of nothing
