I'm doing a public opinion survey to see what everyone is looking for out of their LOCAL tackle store. Talking small family owned type not BPS.

Customer Service tops the list I think that's pretty simple, but as far as merchandise and everything else what would ya'll like to see?

Thanks for your input.

Stocked according to the needs of the local anglers, not just a wierd assortment of colors and lures that aren't tailored to nearby lakes.

super fast shipping will get you a good reputation (crucial tackle).. and quality products, maybe have some specialty swimbaits from Cali or some inventory that most have to order online to see in person.. just throwing out ideas. I would also like a large demo tank with 10lbers in it that i could try before i buy grin

Hot chicks that know about fishing is a plus!! Also no gimmick baits in stock. only stuff that the Anglers use and trust should be in stock. Special requests can be ordered

Have a section with the latest and greatest things. You know like Reaction Innocations, Jackall, Sure-Life, Etc. Etc...
Be able to be the place that can accomplish the following:

Angler A: Man do you have a _____ in black and blue

Angler B: No I never bought any, they are too new. dont know if they work or not, those ***** on the forums havent told me if they work or not.

Angler A: Dang! Thats the only thing i can get bit on out here, and i lost my last one yesterday. We are in that tourney tomorrow, what am i gonna do.

Angler B: You know what... I bet that ole joint that BCoop owns has them, lets run by there real quick and pick up a few.

Angler A: Thats a great idea, they may be a few dollars more than normal but i have to have them!

Be that guy

you will definitely need to carry stuff that academy and stores like that don't stock, it would be hard for a small store to compete with their prices.

Power Tackle rods, Powell rods, Reaction innovations,Oldham jigs, Megabass, etc.
