Fish on Benbrook ? Have you lost your mind? It was good for a laugh, sorry budd. I would recommend going to the Flying Fish & having fish tacos & a cold beer. At least you will get to see some fish. I live next to this lake & have spent countless hours the last two years trying to learn any patterns that would work.I now spend the hour or more & drive to a known productive lake. Just my take on Benbrook.

I'm glad i'm not the only one!!!I've been on BB about 6 times in the last 2 weeks and have yet to catch a crappie,I have fished deep, shallow, minners and jigs,no crappie yet!!Did catch a 8 lb. hybrid while crappie fishing.....now that was fun,but sure don't beat the taste of those slabs!!

I guess that I should confess that I live within 10 miles of Benbrook but drive to Granbury all the time. I've only been in Crowley since last fall, so I'll likely spend more time trying to learn Benbrook, but I sure have been enjoying those Granbury crappie. They seem to be much more easily found.

benbrook lake is a mile down the road behind my house. Me and my 2 buddies go there alot, but we only fish for cats. I have caught a 14 inch sand bass there but i have better luck fishing for cats. If your fishing for crappie or bass i would go 30 miles to granburry lake.
