The bass club I'm in does something like this during the hottest summer months (July & August).We call it a Marathon.
You can start fishing at 7:30pm on a Friday and fish until 3pm on Saturday which is the cutoff for the first day.From 3pm Saturday until Noon Sunday which is the weigh-in.
This is a paper tournament.No money involved.Well if you get in on the $5 per person big bass pot.

I have confirmation that JC Outdoors (Mark Howard) is going to direct this tournament for us. He and I still have some minor details to work out. But, here is what we have tentatively.
1. First 8 hours starting at safe light (estimated 6:30 am) Saturday morning - Lake ??????. Weigh-in will be (estimated 2:30 pm) at Lake ??????.
2. The next start time will be 2 hours later (4:30 pm) on another very close by Lake ?????
3. Last weigh in will be 8 hours later (12:30 am) on that second lake.
Combined lake weights will decide winners.
Must fish with a partner.
Mark is a genius at organizing tournaments. He will be providing us with more details soon.
