yes it has smallies in it. i cought an 8 lb lmb out of it last year. all i can say is stay on the east side of the lake avoiding the flats. cranks in the morning and jigs, brush hogs, and c-rigs when it starts to get hot.

Right now the whole lake should be VERY safe to run. Stay aout 25yds or so off the bank and cut through and around the islands with caution but past that you can run from one end to the other. It has a ton of rocks and docks as stated but since its so full after being low there is more submerged willows and shoreline cover than you can fish. Not sure if the cold water killed it but in the last few years there has been some small patches of grass in very particular areas that hold fish. The area around the 380 bridge is usually clogged with duckweed this time of year. Last but not least there is some wood cover and some stuff like dollar pads and potato garss in certain areas. You just have to explore. I lived out there a good while and I can honestly say you can catch fish anywhere on that lake.

Anyone know if a boat can get under the bridge yet and has the water cleared up very much?
