A heart felt thanks goes out to Lowrance for going beyond the service needs of their clients---at least they did for me.
Here's what happened--- called Lowrance for the repair of my LDx 25c, and was told to send it in for repair along with a check for 312.00, which I did. Several weeks later I got an e-mail state'ing my unit was on the way. Much to my disappointment it was not fixed and my ck was not included in the paper work.
I called Lowrance,and they were very apologetic for their blunder and asked me if I would accept a new HD7 for my troubles--I said yes of course and next day --here it is. It was my assumption that they would keep the 312.00 but Tuesday I received my ck back---called they said it was mine so manna from Heaven was redeposited in my account.
All I can say after being a loyal customer since the days of the "Green Box" ---I couldn't be happier.

i keep hearing more and more stories of how lowrance has changed something around and is taking better care of thier customers. This is a great thing to hear, and I hope they continue to follow this path! Good job Lowrance!

Nice to hear a positive about any company. Customer support and service are very critical and issues that are quiet important when making any purchase. I'm glad you are pleased.

maybe they will be able to support the HDS units longer than the LMS !!! got a 2.5 year old 334 that is non repairable,but they will give me a rebate if i buy a new HDS! what a surprise!!!
I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning !!!

Yea, I have 2 520's all screwy under warranty, I wonder what they will do for those? Do they need a dealer to tell them that its bad?

They will instruct you what to do. If you're lucky and they aren't repairable, maybe you'll get a new one like MBM.
