Well ok,maybe more than one.
1st-When the si transducer is mounted is it normal to be a little loose in the bracket?

2nd-When the units collective plug(wiring to head) is unplugged do you wrap or cover it anyway to protect from
corrosion /moisture?

3rd-Is there a paper manual or quick referance, to carry in the boat, available?.

1. Mine is a little lose in the actual bracket but I think that is so it can give way easily if you bump something.

2. I just leave mine out in the open but use one of those cable locks to attach it to the ram mount when not in use and it makes it face down so water and stuff can't actually get in it.

3. As far as I know there is just the online manual which I believe you can print off.

1. yes
2. I unplug when I trailer a long distance, cant think of a 1000 unit bouncing down the highway or catching some road debris. I have a velcro strap I tighten the cord holder to the ram mount. i will every now and then use some di electric cleaner on the pins.
3. I printed the dvd pfd manual and keep some of the pages in the boat in case I need it.
