Got out to Lewisville with my father in law down from Iowa at 11am - found little activity on lake. Hit second spot and found the hybrids in a channel - caught one at 18 in and 6 more between 20.5 and 22 inches - man Ron loved the way these fish fought. Can't wait for my first 10 lber!! All hybrids caught on my favorite day glo sassy; several sandies caught on the TNT limit gitters. We had a blast - the last time he caught a fish this size was on Texoma - he said the 9 lb Striper was a HASSLE to reel in!!! He will never hear the end of that one!!! Pics of a couple of the biggest attached - all released to fight another day. Off the lake by 2!!

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he has to buy rods, aluminum reels, monofilament lines, nets, tackle boxes, lures, spinners, worm rigs, slip sinkers, offset hooks, gore-tex hats, polarized sunglasses, fish finders, depth sounders, radar, boats, trailers, global positioning systems, coolers, six packs...

Since the wind blew too hard to go this weekend, I decided to get out yesterday afternoon. Got on the water about 2:30. Lots of bird action in the timber out from the 121 cut and also South of Twin Trees point. Caught several hybrids in the 2-5 lb range and quite a few sandies. Nice day!

Great catch! I can vow for the fight they give. I landed a 7lb and a 10lber. It was a heck of a battle. Lots of fun. Can't wait to get back on the water. I hope all who are catching the hybrids are releasing them. LL is on it's way of becoming a premier fishing lake for hybrids. Take a picture and measure/weight them and release. You'lll benefit from it later when the 5lber grows into a 7!

Tight Lines!
God Bless
