Alrighty me and my old man went out to benbrook. We fished off the stumps at Richardson's slough near noontime(we got out there kinda late) and we didn't catch anything except a couple of perch. We need help. We were plannin on goin out there this evening to try again. If yall have any tip on where to fish on Benbrook lake please post em. Thanks for the help.

I am not sure what you are fishing for, but if you troll the hellpet up by the dam over the humps in 35 feet of water you should be able to locate some white bass. If they are not that deep move closer to around 25 feet and try again.
Down on the south end of the lake on the east side is a 23-25 foot flat that ususally holds good numbers of white bass - you will see the boats out there...
Just watch the depthfinder until you find them then start fishing - they may not take a slab - you may have to troll them up...

The last hybrid I saw caught was about 5-6 weeks ago over at Richardson's slough in 50 feet of water and drifting up a ledge...the guy was drifting shad at about 35 feet.
He lost several lines in the trees...and I only got sand bass and a few drum on slabs...
