Build a worm wall with peg board and hangers you can get at Lowes. Inexpensive and you can see everything you have all at once.

I recently got a plastics binder with 20 inserts and it it perfect. Keeps everything organized in a very small amount of space. A must have. Got it at Bass Pro Shops for about $15

That's what I use except I buy the smaller shoebox size to carry in the boat. Label the top with what's inside, worms, frogs, lizards, etc. I also label the end and then stack them on the garage shelves. Makes it easy to pick which one to take based on the season or lake. And they only cost a couple of bucks each.

The binders are just too much for me to deal with. I sort my worms by size and light and dark and put the packages in gallon sized ziplock bags. I use a sharpie on the outside of the bag to tell me what is in it. Replace the bag every year or so and you will also wind up cleaning house of things that you never use or combining packages.
