I was thinking the same. Maybe why he bit as soon as it hit bottom lol. Hopefully, the Junebugs and fireflys around will make him ripe soon

That private pond is definitely lacking sufficient forage species for the bass in there. All head and no body, bad element or way too many bass for the size of the pond. Need to take more bass out or supplement vass quantities of sunfish, shiners and fathead minnows.

Its on 1220 in Ft Worth. You have to have a boat or something using the storage facility (being a customer) to fish it. Its gated with a code and all.
I do agree that the owner should drop some baitfish in there. I havent seen any at all. I figured they were feeding off insects and what not
