I'm meeting two buddies at a lake house on Canyon lake in a few weeks. Any body have any info on the striped fish in that lake?

Nobody? Nothing?? Come on, I'm booked to go. Parks & Wildlife says they are in there, some one has to have chased them lately....

Check with Canyon Lake Tackle Box. That is a bait shop near the lake. He always knows what is biting, where, and what on. Good luck

They weren't on top near the dam yesterday morning. I was there from 7 to about 10. There were two other boats there, and no one was catching anything, that I saw. I did see some surface activity from the dam early Friday, but it was very soft, and never lasted for more than a few seconds. Looked like whites to me, not stripers.

Stripers are primarily going to be suspended in the area of boat ramp one and Randolph Marina. Reports have them suspended around 40ft. 3/4oz Cotton Cordell jigging spoons with a red flash tail has been getting there attention as well as down-rigging bucktail jigs and storm swim shad. Only reports I have gotten. If i get more I will be sure to post
