What happens; it’s like someone flips a switch and fish disappear. What do you throw and where do you need to throw it? Do you need to fish deep, and if so what do you throw? What are the best colors for summer crank baits or spinner baits? Best soft plastic techniques? How do you get a bite?

Any good ideas or places to start?

When they stop feeding during the day, they start feeding at night! Try 1am - 4am. This phenomenon may not last every single day, but often times holds true.

Thanks guys, Sounds like I need to adjust my hours. If I fish between 7 pm to midnight I can't get up at 4 am to fish the early morning. I have to do one or the other, can't do both. Too old to stay up all night, last time I tried that I paid for it the next day. Maybe I should try 3am till it gets too Hot. Come in take a nap till 9 pm and go out again till I can't stand it, 2 am or so.

I'll see what I can do to try that next weekend. Short of asking exactly where I should fish. I'll ask; do I need to try main lake points or secondary point in creeks or bays? Or do I need to go for the flats or humps? I'm fishing for to much information? You may as well tell me what bait I need. LOL

My best night was 2 nights ago in the wind, we were dragging across a long stretch of hydrilla.

we had an 8.5lber last night in the back of a cove. Good stuff.
