Anyfish, is that at Cooper Lake? Do they have cable? At $135/night they should have room service! Still, I'll file it under "romantic getaway."

Don't think anybody listed Ray Robert's yet. Lot's of campsites on the water. I have done well fishing right off my campsite. Good showers.

I'm sorry I was referring to BeaverBend and or Broken Bow lake. They are very close to one another. And you're right it is expensive, its like a once in a while trip for us. But it is awesome!

I've never been, but have relatives who swear by Purtis Creek Reservoir up by Anthem, Southeast of Dallas. Small reservoir, electric motors only, and I think that they limit the amount of boats on the lake to 50. Incredible topwater flyfishing for largemouths in the spring / summer also.
